Another “new friend” added to the Network today.

This new friend reports that he was actually successful in getting a formal prosecution and conviction against Grant Norman King in the District Court. The trouble is, when the Court attempted to enforce the Order, Grant King pleaded poverty, and stated that he didn’t own anything of value.

Astoundingly, the Court allowed Grant King to keep his tools of trade at the time – I say astoundingly, because the person I spoke with today who was successful in securing the prosecution against Grant King also reportedly had a 40% stake in Grant Kings tools – which makes the tools a valid compensatory claim item for redress – yet this was apparently not taken into account in the Court case.

Apparently, Grant King also narrowly dodged a prosecution attempt by the Inland Revenue Department at the time (Takapuna branch).

And in other news – there is apparently another daughter by a previous marriage, who could be in her mid-30’s now.

If anyone could assist me in tracking down the older daughter, any of Grant Kings previous partners / wives, and the name of the landlord that held the lease for 8-10 Moselle Ave in West Auckland, this would be most appreciated.

Update 4/1/12: Just found the Landlord.
