My previous post left off with a question: what is the connection between GNK, and Ian Bruce Wards (IBW), given that IBW is the landlord for GNK and, as the Director of Amber Gold Ltd, owns 46B Garfield Rd, Helensville (for which GNK gives the address as 46k Garfield Rd, Helensville, and which we have now all discovered is nothing more than a “ghost” address).

I have been doing a little digging around, and it would appear that (one of) the connections between GNK and IBW is (drum-roll please………) SLEEPOUTS!

IBW’s name is linked to a (now defunct) company that was called “Cabins Portable”, an organisation that was involved in the same work as GNK is involved with now – the (well, non in my case) construction of Sleepouts. It appears that IBW did then what GNK is doing now (well, up until recently, anyway): building and selling Sleepouts. The old domain name was www.cabinsportable.co.nz (this link will take you to a couple of attempts by IBW to sell the domain name, but there were no bids).

I looked and looked and looked, but I could not find a similar ringing endorsement from IBW for GNK 🙁
