How did GNK maintain his workload in the marine industry? Why, he’d repeatedly sink his bosses boat!

GNK was reportedly working as a boat builder and repair person, and was working on a 60 ft boat in an Auckland Marina.

Gifted by now at tapping his various employers for cash (without corresponding accountability for where and how the money was actually being spent), GNK apparently found a very novel way of staying in work – he reportedly sunk the same boat (twice) at the Marina berth, and then was paid to affect the repairs (twice).

The cost to the owner of the boat? Approximately $150,000 all up by the time GNK had finished with him.

This takes the “GNK Tally” to $2,140,000 (and counting)
