Sailworld comes to the defence of Grant King & Tern Anchors, ignorant of who they are actually promoting (speak no evil, see no evil, hear no evil?).

Grant King Offender Timeline 1982 – present-day

Grant King Media Articles Library Summary

The following is an email trail between myself and Sailworld, who seem completely oblivious to who Grant Norman King actually is, and the abject danger he represents to their subscribers.

It seems that Richard Gladwell and Rob Kothe are quite content dealing with evil scum, as long as it brings in advertising revenue – take a look:

General Request

You have this ad on your site: You may not be aware that this company is being investigated for illegal trading, operated by a 3 time bankrupt? This is the full background story on Tern Anchor: The Office of the Official Assignee is opposing Grant Kings release from bankruptcy. The warranties on the Tern Anchor are also worthless: Please contact me if you would like some more information?

Thank you for your concerns  about Tern Anchors.

We had the pleasure of meeting one of the Chinese principals at the Auckland On the Water Boat Show – they seem to have some impressive products, including bikes for boats which were also on display.

They are paying us from China, and from our dealings with Tern, all is as Grant represents them to be. He is their New Zealand salesman as he states.

I regret to advise that I don’t believe too much of what I read in blogs and social media. If I believed half what was written about me, I’d have given up long ago.

Kind regards

Richard Gladwell

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your response.

You will note that one of the links I sent you was a mainstream media article.

For a full summary of Mr Grant King, please go here.

You may also be interested in Mr Kings sexual offence history.

The NZ Herald have covered him extensively.

The MED have as well.

I note that the “Directors” of Tern Anchors have gone to ground, and will not publically affirm that they are the Directors of Tern Anchors.

You are promoting a person in Grant King who has ripped off nearly 70 people for almost $3 million dollars in total over a 30 year period, a person who has had extensive mainstream media coverage of same, a person who has received 8 convictions in the past two years for running illegal companies and benefit fraud, a person who is a convicted child sex offender, and a person who will eventually deal to your organisation, just as he has dealt to everyone else who has had the folly to engage him.

Thankfully, the largest Marine ITO in the country has him on watch with their members, as they are more able to recognise real risk when they see it.

Google has done the rest – try Googling ‘Tern Anchor” or “Tern Marine” and see what comes up in the search string.

Over to you.

Kind Regards,

Steve Taylor
